Johnny Lee has a slightly hissed voice while being able to vary his voice and turn quickly to more power, with a bit crooner-like singing. This slow song on the breach of a cry is completely fit for his voice. The arrangements are bass, drums, (and some accordion), with additional strings and some brass harmonies.

The second song has a more smooth dance rhythm but still is soft crooner-like, with a singing possibly rooted in the American pop of the 50s, early 60s. The singer later went to participate in the formation of the 60s psych pop band KeyBoys.
