This is an acoustic picking guitar trot track (with additional flute and some clarinet). Park So Hung's baritone voice is slightly nosey. Musically this is mainstream exercise.

Also this is Japanese-sounding trot track with acoustic guitar, flute and clarinet mostly and string-like close harmony arrangements from other instruments. Park So Hung's baritone voice comes out better here and with swelling loudness aka emotion.

흘러간 분홍꿈 / The Pink Dream (1941)

The first track is a really nice, Japanese-styled trot song with fine, sparse arrangements.Some of these arrangements are really sweet and original. "Youth" has a faster, happy rhythm. It is a pretty happy old time song with trot flavour. It's arrangements are basically done with accordion, flute, clarinet, guitar, I think violin too and percussive instruments. It's lightness makes this song very attractive too. "Going Away" is a bit more sad Japanese-styled trot song arranged with slide guitar, trumpet and acoustic rhythm guitar and some violin and flute, ..arrangements, making it another nice song and performance too in the mainstream genre from still before it truly had become mainstream. "Blue Wine Glass" is much jazzier in its core. It has a swing in its voice too, skating "bompopoo" and so, and contains some trumpet solos and responses. It is a great example of a jazz song of the early 40s. "The Pink Dream" (lead by strings, clarinet and accordion mostly) is a more sultry ballroom-like nightclub song in duet with a female singer called 김안나 / Anna Kim, a soulful performance.

◇ <落花春風>은 가수 朴宵星님이 1941년 4월에 콜럼비아 레코드에서 발표한 노래입니다.<님 실은 퐁퐁船; C44031/ 王竹姬 노래>과 같이 발매된 이 노래는, 李瑞求作詩/ 李龍俊作曲/ 森實編曲의 작품으로,<눈물의 車窓/ 情 두고 가는 님아(1940.01)>를 취입하며 데뷔한 朴宵星님이 불렀읍니다. 1940~41년간에 콜럼비아에서 활동하면서 <그 港口 그 女子>를 비롯하여 대여섯 곡의 작품을 남긴 朴宵星님이 마지막으로 발표한 작품, <落花春風> 잘듣고 갑니다. [운수납자]

During the 1940-41 years in Columbia, I listened to 落花春風, the last work released by 朴宵星, who left five or six pieces of work, including the 港口 That Woman.
