Kazuhiko Kato

Express Kazuhiko Kato : Come to my bedside...(1969,re.1999)**°°

Tr.7, 9月はほうき星が流れる時 11 min

Solo artist from Folk Crusaders. This is varied folkpop with some "hippie"-free mind touches. This chosen Japanese-sounding song is arranged with a complete orchestra.

P-Vine Rec. Kazuhhiko Kato : supergas (JAP,1971)**°'

(Tr.9, 8 min)

Good and varied hippie?-Folkpop/psychpop item with some tracks with close harmony vocal arrangements. This chosen track is a rather lullaby song with the guitar in a somewhat hippie-raga-mode, including a harmonium drone and some handclaps.

P-Vine Rec. Kazuhiko Kato : Kato Kazuhko No Sekai /

The dougnut record 1973 (JAP,1973,re.1999)°

Compilation with early solo work and singles. First track is psychpop, rest is folkpop, and further on we also have some more rather unintersting newrock.

Later Kazuhiko was also part of glam rock band Sadistics Mika Band, and of the "Meiban Graffiti" series of Japanese rock bands. After this group his style evolved to electro-Wave-pop.
